January 1, 2006 2005 Christmas Stockings. Thanks to everyone for helping us gather stockings full of goodies for kids this year. We took them to the kids who were at the JDC on Christmas day. They were thrilled to get them. This year we place 50 paper stockings on a Christmas tree in the lobby of Windsor Road Christian Church. We asked people to take the slips and bring back a real stocking filled with the following items: 2 Regular Candy Canes 2 Regular Candy Bars 1 Small Stuffed Toy 1 Regular P.E.Z. Dispenser 1 Dollar for a Bible 1 Card to wish them Merry Christmas and let them know you'll keep them in your prayers We couldn't be happier with the congregation's response. The slips were all taken by the end of the second service the first day they were out! You all helped make Christmas a little warmer for these kids.
