Arizona Hike 2007.
In June our group of 16, 11 youth and 5 mentors hiked down the Havasupai Falls trail in the Grand Canyon. Last year we had just 4 youth on our initial trip. We were able to almost triple the number of youth this summer.

Hoops with a Mission.
What do you get when you cross 4 basketball teams in a hot sweaty gym? Empowerment! This summer Mission 180 teamed with the Champaign Park District in order to create competitive basketball teams.

We are excited to have 17 current mentors and 25 youth in mentoring relationships! That being said, we have 25 youth still on our waiting list for mentors!

Comedy Showcase.
On October 27th @ 6:30 Mission 180 will be sponsoring, along with other businesses, an event to benefit the youth and projects of Mission 180. It will be an evening of laughter, comic wit and most importantly awareness; awareness of what Mission 180 is doing and striving to do with and for the families of Champaign-Urbana.

Arizona Hiking Trip.
On June 14th, Mission 180 took the plunge and took a group of adults and youth to the Grand Canyon for a 4 day hiking/camping trip. As the trip started early (3 am) on Wednesday morning the 8 of us were tired, unsure and excited all at the same time.

2005 Christmas Stockings.
Thanks to everyone for helping us gather stockings full of goodies for kids this year. We took them to the kids who were at the JDC on Christmas day. They were thrilled to get them.
